Tezpur University is looking for Assistant Professors (04), Assistant Registrar (01), Computer Operator (01) and Office Assistant (01) for the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL) on contract basis initially for eleven (11) months as per the following details.
1. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 04 (Sociology, Assamese, Mathematics and Mass Communication & Journalism)
Pay: Rs. 30,000/- (fixed) Per Month.
Educational Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level in the concerned subject (Sociology, Assamese, Mathematics and Mass Communication & Journalism) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Assistant Registrar
No of posts: 01
Pay: Rs. 28,000/- (fixed) Per Month
Educational Qualification: Good academic record with a Master’s Degree in any subject having at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B+’ in the UGC seven-point scale (relaxation to SC/ST/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules).
3. Computer Operator
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed) Per Month.
Educational Qualification: BCA / B.Sc. (IT) / DOEACC “A” level.
4. Office Assistant
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (fixed) Per Month.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline.
