Online applications on prescribed format are invited for the following Faculty posts in the form of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professors in various subjects/ departments/ disciplines/ schools of studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) at Delhi (Advertisement No. 02-03/2019/ACD).

1. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 51 posts (UR-11, SC-12, ST-04, OBC-19, EWS-02) (PWD-03)

Pay: Academic Level-10 of 7th Central Pay Commission ₹57700/-182400/-

2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 38 posts (UR-12, SC-08, ST-05, OBC-08, EWS-03) (PWD-02)

Pay: Academic Level-13A of 7th Central Pay Commission ₹131400-217100

3. Professor
No of posts: 27 posts (UR-10, SC-04, ST-05, OBC-05, EWS-02) (PWD-01)

Pay: Academic Level-14 of 7th Central Pay Commission ₹144200 – Rs. 218200/-

Application Fee: The application fee is to be paid is ₹500/- from General/OBC/EWS category candidates is to be submitted online, through credit/debit card/ Net Banking. SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from application fee.

How to apply: Desirous candidates should apply online on prescribed format at IGNOU recruitment website from 19/09/2019 to 20/10/2019 only for the posts of Assistant Professors and from 30/09/2019 to 31/10/2019 for Associate Professor and Professor Vacancies.

The last date for receipt of hard copy of filled in the application submitted online is 25/10/2019 or 5 days after the closing date of submission of Online application for Assistant Professor vacancies and last date is 05/11/2019 for Associate Professor and Professor vacancies.

The hard copy of the printout of application submitted online along with self-attested copies of necessary certificates/documents should reach the Director, Academic Coordination Division, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 through registered/speed post within time.
