Online applications are invited from intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the constitutions of India and ordinarily resident of Assam for filling up of the vacancies as indicated below under the Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-1 in the following scale of Pay plus other allowances under Rules:

1. Instructor
No of posts: 05 [UR-1, OBC/MOBC2, STH-1, EWS-1]

a) Instructor (Cutting)
No of posts: 1 Post - (female only)
Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and diploma in Cutting & Tailoring.

b) Instructor (Craft)
No of posts: 1 Post - (PH Person only)
Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and diploma in Carpentry from ITI.

c) Craft Instructor
No of posts: 2 Posts - (female only)
Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and diploma in Carpentry from ITI.

d) Instructor (Cutting & Tailoring)
No of posts: 1 Post - (female only)
Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and diploma in Cutting & Tailoring.

Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.6,200 per month.

2. Instructor for Music
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and Visharad (Vocal) Course
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.7,400 per month.

3. Manager
No of posts: 03 (UR)

a) Manager, Cutting & Tailoring Section
No of posts: 1 Post - (for female only)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree and diploma in Cutting & Tailoring.

b) Manager, Fancy Bag making Section
No of posts: 1 Post - (for female only)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree and diploma in Art & Craft.

c) Manager, Doll & Toy Making Section
No of posts: 1 Post - (for female only)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree and diploma in Art & Craft.

Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.7,400 per month.

4. Instructor, Govt. BDS Deaf and Dumb School

a) Instructor (Knitting & Embroidery)
No of posts: 1 Post
Educational Qualification: HSSLC and diploma in Knitting & Embroidery.

b) Instructor (Weaving)
No of posts: 1 Post
Educational Qualification: HSSLC and diploma in Weaving and Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech or Diploma in Special Education (HI)

Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.6,400 per month.

5. Matron cum Storekeeper

a) Matron cum Storekeeper for Home Destitute & Vagrant Children
No of posts: 2 Posts
Educational Qualification: HSLC/ AHM passed.

b) Matron cum Storekeeper for State Home
No of posts: 1 Post - (for female only)
Educational Qualification: HSLC/ AHM passed.

Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.5,600 per month.

6. Matriculate Teacher of Vagrant and Observation Home (Children Home)
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: HSLC/ AHM passed.
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.5,600 per month.

7. Graduate Teacher
No of posts: 05 [OBC/MOBC-1, EWS-2, STH-1, STP-1]

a) Graduate Teacher (Arts)
No of posts: 2 Posts
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, preferably English as Major subject with B.Ed.

b) Graduate Teacher (Science)
No of posts: 1 Post
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science, preferably Mathematics as Major subject with B.Ed.

c) Graduate Teacher (Arts)
No of posts: 1 Post
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, preferably English as Major subject with B.Ed.

b) Graduate Teacher (Science)
No of posts: 1 Post
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science, preferably Mathematics as Major subject with B.Ed.

Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.8,700 per month.

8. Under Graduate Teacher
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: HSSLC passed and Diploma in Special Education (V.I.) or Secondary Level Teacher Training Course in (V.I) or equivalent.
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.6,400 per month.

9. Matriculate Teacher
No of posts: 01 (OBC/MOBC)

Educational Qualification: HSLC/ AHM passed and Diploma in Special Education (V.I.) or Secondary Level Teacher Training Course in (V.I) or equivalent.
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.5,600 per month.

10. Knitting & Embroidery Teacher
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: HSLC/ AHM passed and Diploma in Knitting & Embroidery.
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.6,200 per month.

11. Nurse
No of posts: 01 (UR) - (for female only)

Educational Qualification: HSSLC/ AHM passed with ANM Course.
Remuneration: PB-2, Rs.14,000-60,500/- plus GP-Rs.6,200 per month.

Age as on 01/01/2019: 18 years to 38 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by five (5) years for ST/SC candidates and is relaxable by three (3) years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
