Applications are invited from eligible candidates for monitoring posts at different positions. The selected candidates would be engaged on contractual basis by BECIL, a PSU under Ministry of I&B. The details of eligibility criteria, vacancy position and emoluments are as under:
1. Content Auditor

Educational Qualification:
1. PG Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication
2. Three years experience in visual media or news agencies like ANI, PTI, UNI etc.
OR
Retired as News Editor/Dy. Director (News) from DD/ AIR in the pre revised pay scale of Rs. 10,000-15200.
Pay: Rs. 49,800
2. Sr. Monitor
No of posts: 3 [Language English]
Educational Qualification:
1. PG Diploma in Journalism
2. Two years experience in Media or News agencies.
OR
Retired from DD/AIR as News Editor/Assistant Director (News) in pre-revised scale of Rs. 8,000-13,500.
Pay: Rs. 37,350
3. Monitor
No of posts: 38 [Assamese - 4, Bengali – 2]
Educational Qualification:
1. Graduate and proficiency in Computer with Knowledge (proficiency) of Language Concerned
2. One year experience in the field of Media / News.
Desirable: PG Diploma in Journalism/Bachelor in Journalism/Mass Communication.
Pay: Rs. 28,635
How to apply: The number of vacancies is tentative and is likely to change. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility conditions mentioned against the vacant post. Proficiency in English is expected from candidates for all the posts as work of monitors involves making reports in English. Candidates are required to provide a mobile phone number in the registration form to enable communication with them through SMS/calls.
While applying for the post of Monitor, candidates should clearly mention the language against the post. The envelope containing application must be super-scribed as under:-
“Application for the post of Monitor (Language _____________)/Sr Monitor (English)/CA”
Application form may be obtained from BECIL Corporate Office or Downloaded from BECIL website and submitted along with a registration fee of Rs. 300/- by cash or by demand draft drawn in favor of “Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited” payable at New Delhi may be sent through speed post/in person on the address mentioned at the top. SC/ST/Divyang candidates are exempted from the registration fee.
The last date of receiving of application at BECIL is September 15, 2017.
