Applications are invited for the following posts for projects under Multi Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU), Silchar Medical College & Hospital, Assam for a purely temporary and contractual basis.

1. Research Scientist -II                
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree (MD/ DNB) in pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry or equivalent. OR
MBBS from any MCI recognised institute or equivalent degree with 8 years R & D Teaching experience pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry or equivalent.
Or
Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Science or equivalent.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.58,900/-

2. Lab Technician                         
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects and 2 years diploma (DMLT) Or 12th in Science subjects with one-year DMLT and one-year required experience as a Lab Technician or two-years field/ laboratory experience. B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or its equivalent.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.18,360/

3. Lab Assistant                           
No of posts: 1

Educational Qualification: 10th/ Matric/ High School/ equivalent with one-year required experience or with certificates of one-year training in laboratory area.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.16,179/
