Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Guwahati (A Central Autonomous Organization under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India), IHM, Guwahati invites application for the following posts:

1. Asst. Lecturer-cum-Asst. Instructor
No of posts: 4 Gen, 1 OBC & 01 ST (6 nos.)
Pay: Pay matrix Rs.35,400-1,12,400, Level-6

2. Teaching Associate
No of posts: 1 Gen, 1 SC  (2 nos.)
Pay: Consolidated Pay of Rs.25,000/- per month

Essential Qualification & Other Qualification: 
1) Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full time Master’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelors or master’s degree.
OR 
Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with at least 2 years industry experience.

2) Must have qualified NHTET conducted by NCHMCT with prescribed percentage to qualify for Asst. Lecturer-cum-Asst. Instructor or Teaching Associate, as the case may be. However the candidate, having a Ph. D in Hospitality/ Hotel Management topic from a recognized University/ Institute need not to qualify NHTET.

Age: Not exceeding 30 years, (as on 01.01.2019), Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates and as specified for other categories by Govt. of India from time to time.

The competent authority reserves the right to fill or not to fill vacancy or to re-advertise the Post. The Institute will not be responsible for postal delay. The numbers of the post are indicative and may increase or decrease. Candidate must furnish their contact number.
