National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR)under the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India is a premier Institute providing training, research and consultancy services in the field of Rural Development. NIRDPR of its Regional Centre, Guwahati, proposes to engage the service of government retired persons on contract basis who are qualified and experience to work for the positions as mentioned below. 

1.  Consultant (Accounts)
No of posts: 1 No 

Salary (Consolidated) : ₹ 40,000 – 50,000 (depending upon the pay scale on retirement, experience, expertise, etc.)
Term of appointment : Initially for 1(one) year and extendable based on performance and requirement of the Institute
Experience : Retired govt. servant from the Accounts Cadre with a Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/- or above
Age: Below 67 years (relaxation will be given in deserving cases)


2. Consultant (Establishment) 
No of posts: 1 No 

Salary (Consolidated) : ₹ 40,000 – 50,000 (depending upon the pay scale on retirement, experience, expertise, etc.)
Term of appointment : Initially for 1(one) year and extendable based on performance and requirement of the Institute
Experience : Retired govt. servant with experience in establishment, service matters, disciplinary proceedings with a Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/- or above
Age: Below 67 years (relaxation will be given in deserving cases)

3. Consultant (Stores)
No of posts: 1 No 

Salary (Consolidated) : ₹ 40,000 – 50,000 (depending upon the pay scale on retirement, experience, expertise, etc.)
Term of appointment : Initially for 1(one) year and extendable based on performance and requirement of the Institute
Experience : Retired government servant with experience in procurement, maintenance of stores and supplies with a Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/- or above
Age: Below 67 years (relaxation will be given in deserving cases)

4. Consultant (Library)
No of posts: 1

Salary (Consolidated) : ₹ 40,000 – 50,000 (depending upon the pay scale on retirement, experience, expertise, etc.)
Term of appointment : Initially for 1(one) year and extendable based on performance and requirement of the Institute
Experience : Retired govt. servant with experience in maintenance of library with a Grade Pay of ₹ 5400/- or above
Age: Below 67 years (relaxation will be given in deserving cases)
